About Me 🌸🌼🌺

My name is Valerie, and the picture above is obviously me haha 🤗. I am a student currently studying abroad in Stockholm Sweden, in the DIS Stockholm program. I decided to study abroad because I have never been to Europe before this, and I was looking for a new adventure to fill my time!! 🙂 I am apart of the Positive Psychology Core Course and could not be more excited to be apart of such an amazing group of people. When I saw that there was a blogger position, I realized how great of an opportunity it is to document all of my travels so not only my family and friends can keep up, but also to help prospective students as well 🙂

Now a little bit more about me! Back in the United States, I go to school at Harvard University in Boston, MA. At Harvard, I study psychology, criminal psychology, and criminal law. Crime is something I have always been interested in, and thankfully, I get to learn more about specific types of crimes through some of my elective courses here in Sweden! I am a senior this year, so this is my last year of undergraduate school. I am thinking I will either go to graduate school or law school as my next career path; however, nothing is set in stone yet!

At Harvard, I also played ice hockey for two years there and I had the best experience. I met so many amazing people and do not regret it for the world. However, I am now prepared to experience other things, such as studying abroad! Focusing on my academics has allowed me to come to Europe and learn more about all the different cultures the world has to offer.
